With over 30 years of experience practising law Michael Steinfeld has covered a wide variety of legal and commercial matters in his suburban practice. This includes family law, conveyancing, probate and will matters, criminal matters in the local court, personal injury and workers compensation. The practice services many different clients including small business.

He regularly attends the Local Court on criminal matters and the Federal Magistrates Court in relation to family law disputes.

In 1994, he became an accredited specialist in personal injury work.

In personal injury work he has acted on behalf of claimants who have been severely injured in road and work place accidents, including brain damage victims, paraplegia and quadriplegia. He attends the Workers’ Compensation Commission on behalf of injured workers.

He regularly volunteers at the Kingsford Legal Centre to assist their clients and provide work experience training for law students. He has been recognised and awarded for his volunteer work by the Combined Legal Centre in 2004 and received recognition from the NSW Centre for Volunteering in 2008 and 2009. In October 2011, Michael was awarded a 2011 Justice Award on behalf of the Community Legal Centres of NSW for over 27 years of volunteering at the Kingsford Legal Centre.
